Detailed study on cesarean rates in the US
Tuesday, February 21st, 2006A comprehensive study was published by CDC on cesarean birth rates in the US. It shows a gradual increase in C-sections since the late ’90s with current rates in around 27% for all women and just over 23% for “low-risk” births. C-section rates for women who have already had a cesarean are almost 90%.
